Stop At: Titanic Memorial Garden, Belfast City Hall Donegall Square, Belfast BT1 5GS Northern Ireland

We start our tour with a visit to the Titanic Memorial Garden in the grounds of the City Hall where you’ll hear how Belfast became the Ship Building capital of the world during the Industrial Revolution. See the names of all those who perished in the disaster and hear how the amazing story of the men who built the ship.

Stop At: Big Fish, Donegall Quay, Belfast BT1 3NG Northern Ireland

Walk along the Lagan to the “Big Fish” where you’ll hear about the legendary giant Finn McCool and you’ll also see the Custom House and the Albert Clock, Belfast’s own “leaning Tower”.
We walk over the Lagan Weir Footbridge as we head over to the Titanic Quarter. Along the way you’ll hear about the Ship Building history of the city which dates back over 300 years.

Pass By: SS Nomadic, Hamilton Dock Queens Road Hamilton Dock, Belfast BT3 9DT Northern Ireland

We come to Belfast’s Marina and take in a magnificent view of the Titanic Quarter including the SSE Arena, the SS Nomadic and the Titanic Visitor Centre. There will be time to grab a coffee at this stop.

Here you’ll also be introduced to the SS Nomadic, the world’s last remaining White Star vessel which was built in Belfast and was used to transfer First Class passengers out to the Titanic in the port of Cherbourg for her maiden voyage. The tour will not go on board the Nomadic but guests may want to tour the ship after the walking tour is finished.

Stop At: Slipways, Titanic, Museum, 1 Olympic Wy, Belfast BT3 9EP, UK

We walk to the Titanic Visitor Centre which contains the biggest Titanic exhibition in the world (the tour does not include a visit to the exhibition. Can be booked online). You’ll walk on the slipways where the Titanic and her sister ship the Olympic were built side by side and discover many local stories about the ships construction.

Stop At: The Great Light, Titanic Walkway, Queen's Road, Belfast BT3 9DT Northern Ireland

Our next stop is the Great Light, one of the largest optics of its kind ever built in the world, weighing 10 tonnes and measuring 7 metres tall, the optic is a unique maritime heritage object with significance to Belfast’s economic, maritime and industrial past.

Pass By: HMS Caroline, Queens Rd Alexandra Dock, Belfast BT3 9DT Northern Ireland

We stop at HMS Caroline, a war ship and unique survivor of The Battle of Jutland in World War One. This floating museum may be one of the many attractions you want to investigate after the walking tour ends. Admission price not included.

Stop At: Thompson Dry Dock, Belfast BT3 9AD, UK

We finish our tour at the Titanic Dock and Pump House. The Thompson dry dock was the largest in the world and built specifically for the Titanic. Here you can grab a snack in the Pump House before deciding if you want to enter the Dry Dock and feel it’s size and imagine what it was like to work here fitting out the Titanic.
