Lisbon and Sintra Full Day Tour
In a nine hour tour, you will see the major points of this two cities (Lisbon & Sintra). Starting at your hotel, the driver will pick you up and drive you around Lisbon, trought the most important monuments of Lisbon and will tell you all about the history. After this you will visit Sintra and it's magnificents palaces and gardens. Then travel through the mountains to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point on the European mainland, and then on to the charming coastal villages of Cascais and Estoril. On the way back to Lisbon, take a picturesque road along the seashore and see where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Tagus River.
Description
Get picked up at your hotel in Lisbon by a private driver and set off for a 9-hour adventure through Portugal’s Capital and also one of the smaller towns.
From Lisbon, head to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Sintra and spend time exploring its city center. You will also pass trought the famous Pena Palace, the Moorish Castle, Regaleira Palace, and the beautiful Monserrate Palace.
After Sintra, travel over the mountains to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point on the European mainland. From there it’s a short trip to Cascais, a coastal outpost for the Portuguese elite, and the charming fishing village of Estoril. On the way back to Lisbon, drive along a picturesque coastal road and see where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Tagus River.
Already in Lisbon, in Belém, tour the UNESCO-listed Jeronimo Monastery and Belém Tower. See where history was made at the Monument of Discoveries and taste a delicious pastel de nata, the traditional local egg tart.
Back in Lisbon’s historic Alfama district, wander down the narrow streets and learn the all about the city’s oldest neighborhood. Head to a nearby hilltop castle to enjoy sweeping views of the city below, before exploring the famous cathedral.
The driver will return you to your hotel or port at the end of the tour.
