Day 1: Arrival & Addis Ababa City Tour

Stop At: Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa
Our experienced registered guide will meet you at the airport, picking you up to escourt you to your hotel, where you will drop off your things before heading to Mount Entoto, offering some of the best views of our nation's capital city.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Addis Ababa Museum, Meskel Square, Addis Ababa Ethiopia
Allow our experienced guide to walk you through the many exhibits including the 3.5 million year old bones of Lucy!
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Mercato, Addis Ababa Ethiopia
Enjoy the diverse sights and sounds of the largest open air market in Africa!
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: St. George's Cathedral, Piazza, Addis Ababa Ethiopia
You also have the option to view St George's Cathedral or Holy Trinity Cathedral.
Duration: 1 hour

Day 2: Lake Tana & Blue Nile Falls

Stop At: Lake Tana, Ground floor from Blue Nile Hotel, Bahir Dar 6000 Ethiopia
After arriving from Addis Airport, you will be taken to your boat from which you will be able to see as many Monasteries as time permits, papyrus boaters fishing or gathering firewood, and Hippopotamus.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Blue Nile Falls, Amhara , Region Ethiopia
Journey through the beautiful, fertile hillsides surrounding the breathtaking Blue Nile Falls. Pass local farmers and donkeys carrying loads of wheat, sorghum, and teff through the waterfall's smokey mist.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Bahir Dar, Bahir Dar, Amhara Region
Enjoy some Traditional Ethiopian music over dinner later in the evening. (Starting around 8:30 PM)

Day 3: Awra Amba and Gondar

Stop At: Awra Amba, Ethiopia
Awra Amba is a community that seeks to highlight examples of women empowerment in Ethiopia and Africa at large. They weave traditional clothes and fabric, and teach women how to do so.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Fasil Ghebbi, Mesqual square Gondar mesqual square, Gonder Ethiopia
The car will then transport you to the Castles of Gondar, where you will see the royal swimming pool, Empress Minitwab's Palace, and even Debre Birhan Selassie (Light of the Trinity) Church, if there is time.

Day 4: Woleka & Simien Mountains

Stop At: Gonder, Gonder, Amhara Region
Visit Gondar's Felasha Village or 'Black Jewish' people, a community older than the Gonderine Civilization of the 17th - 19th century.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Simien Mountains National Park, Ethiopia
Register at Debark to enter the Simien Mountains National Park, and begin hike up to Sankaber Camp Site at 3250 miles above sea level
Duration: 5 hours

Day 5: Simien Mountains - Sankaber to Chenek

Stop At: Sankaber Simien Mountains National Park, 62JQ+XJ2, Sankabar, Ethiopia
After breakfast head down to Jinbar Falls, for a magnificent viewing, before driving to Aynameda, to begin Mount Inatye hike that leads to Chenek, where we will camp over night at a location with a spectacular view of the park and the Walia Ibex.
Duration: 5 hours

Day 6: Climb to Mount Buhait (4430. absl)

Stop At: Simien Mountains National Park, Ethiopia
Climb to Mt. Buhait, the 2nd highest peak in the park, where you will see the local endemic goat and Walia Ibex. Then you will hike back down to the car pickup location where you will be transported back to Gondar
Duration: 6 hours
