Just after the Taj Mahal - Excursion to the nearby Agra Fort, built in 1565 A.D another majestic creation by the Mughal Emperor Akbar Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in 1573. Agra Fort is a massive fortification located on the right bank of the River Yamuna in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. It is at a distance of 2.5 kms from the world famous Taj Mahal. Made from red sandstone, this imposing structure is as majestic as it is beautiful and delicate.
