This building is considered a landmark of Warsaw, which not all residents of the city want to accept, due to its connection with the communistic era. You will learn about the circumstances of the construction, the function and some interesting details of the palace. From here you can also see the emerging skyline with the numerous skyscrapers. You are in the middle of what is considered the biggest office district in Poland.
Pass By: Monument to the Warsaw Uprising Fighters, Krasinski Square, Warsaw Poland
At the Swietokrzyska Street is the Monument of the Warsaw Uprising Fighters. It is said, that here was made the first shot at 5pm on the 1st. August 1944. The guide will explain shortly the history of the uprising and the consequences till today.

We get on the time machine and go to Warsaw before World War II. Krakowskie Przedmiescie Street is the most famous promenade in Poland and the only street in Warsaw that has largely survived the World War visually.
The most expensive hotels, the Presidential Palace and the University of Warsaw are located on the promenade, which represents the northern section of the Royal Route. Frédéric Chopin grew up here.
The Royal Route ends at the Castle Square, which is probably the most beautiful place in Warsaw with an astonishing view of the colourful Old Town.
It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1980 and is still considered the best reconstruction of an old town.
Here you can admire the most beautiful square in Warsaw - the Castle Square. Finally, it goes through the romantic alleys to the old town Market Square.

It lastet 63 days and lead to the total destruction of the city.
