Let's travel back in time and visit the most important sacred sanctuary in the central coast of southamerica. Admire its colossal size and be amazed with the panoramic view of their ancient pyramids, fresh breze of the pacific ocean and the green valley below.
It takes about 1 hour to get to Pachacamac, it is an archaeological complex that is a pre-Columbian citadel with adobe and stone palaces, and pyramidal temples. It is located about 31 km southeast of the city center.
We recommend a visit to Pachacamac first, as an introduction to the Inka culture before going to Cusco and Machu Picchu. You will better understand the Inca tradition!
