To start this very pretty ride in a 2 CV, our meeting point is at the main entrance to the Tuileries Gardens, just opposite the obelisk of Luxor (Ramses II), the oldest monument in Paris offered to the France in the early 1830s.
The engine of the 2 cv starts with its very specific noise and quietly we are going to go for our walk from the place de la concorde passing in front of the magnificent buildings of the automobile club of France, the embassy of the United States, and the magnificent Hôtel de Crillon.
We pass over the Pont de la Concorde (1791) to have the National Assembly in front of us and we will head towards the invalids where we will be able to admire the most beautiful bridge in Paris during the journey... After this unforgettable moment, here we go again in the direction of the Statue of Liberty.
The history of this statue begins in 1866 (Napoleon III) with the sculptor Bartholdi, to mark the friendship between France and the United States.
