Stop At: Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang), West Changan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100006 China
Picked up at 8:30 a.m. and head to Tian'anmen Square, a large city-center square with great cultural significance as the site of several key events in Chinese history. You will see some of the iconic buildings in Beijing, like the Front Gate, Chairman Mao's Mausoleum, Monument to the People's Heroes, Great Hall of the People, Tiananmen Gate, and the National Museum of China.
Duration: 40 minutes
Stop At: Forbidden City-The Palace Museum, No.4 Jingshanqian Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing 100009 China
Then walk north to the Forbidden City, the place where the Ming and Qing Emperors resided for more than 500 years. It is the largest and best-preserved Imperial Palace in the world.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing China
After lunch in a local non-tourist restaurant, drive around 1.5 hours to see Great Wall at Mutianyu, one of the most beautiful sections of Wall in Beijing and less touristy. Round trip cable car is also included for this package.
