Admire the splendid architecture of the St. Stephen’s Basilica, the 2nd-largest church in Hungary. See the sights of Castle Hill, such as the 700-year-old Matthias Church, and the Fisherman’s Bastion with its 7 towers and terrace overlooking Pest and the Danube.

The highlight of any trip to Budapest is the spectacular panorama of the Danube and the Pest side from the top of the Gellert Hill. Learn about the legend of Bishop Gellért, and the history of the Citadel and the Statue of Liberty.

Make your way back into the center of the city and visit the Central Market Hall, the largest indoor market of Budapest. You will have time to relax and enjoy a traditional lunch, with the chance to do some shopping.

After lunch continue and explore the Jewish Quarter to see the largest synagogue in Europe.
