Take a beautiful ride up the mountain in a vintage slope-climbing cable car that runs right through the forest. Lovely in all seasons!

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Mt. Rokko, Higashinada-ku, Kobe 658-0000 Hyogo Prefecture

Views, views, views! Then a pleasant drive through some lovely mountain roads as we head to the gardens.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Kobe City Forest Botanical Gardens, Japan, 〒651-1102 Hyogo, Kobe, Kita Ward, Yamadachō Kamitanigami, 字長尾1-2

Enjoy a peaceful walk through a very large botanical garden in the mountains above Kobe.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Arima Onsen, Arimacho, Kita-ku, Kobe 651-1401 Hyogo Prefecture

Enjoy a soak here in the region's most famous hot springs, Arima Onsen. The waters are said to rejuvenate! There's a quaint town to shop and look around too.
