Half-Day Guided Hiking The Two Brothers Hill Viewpoint or Sunset
The Two Brothers Hill is a granit and gnaisse rock formation that paints the iconic silluete of Rio de Janeiro landscape. Both hills are surrounded by a preserved area of Atlantic Rain Forest and make border with Rocinha comunity and Vidigal comunity. Despite not being a governmental protected area, the local population take care of the green area and make sure it keeps protected and safe.

Itinerary
In this experience, we will hike to the top of the TWO BROTHER's HILL, to check one of the most stunning viewpoints of the city.
Located in the south coast of Rio, between the neightbourhoods of Leblon and São Conrado, the Two Brother's Hill is part of the iconic landscape of Ipanema beach.
We will meet in front of the Sheraton Hotel and walk together to the Vidigal neighbourhood, from where we will take a local transport to the "Vila Olímpica do Vidigal" where our hike begins.
The trail is 1.5km long and is considered easy to some people and moderate to others. Presenting some steep stretches, we will hike on constant uphill for 70 minutes to reach the top of the "big brother" mountain that has 550m altitude.
Once in the peak we will take time to relax, enjoy the view, take in the beauty and relax.
I will explain some stories of Rio, the curiosities of the Vidigal and Rocinha comunities and share the knowledge of our beautiful forest.
Then we will hike down for 60 min and finish our experience having a delicious açaí bowl, a cold coconut or a local beer in the Leblon Viewpoint.
It will be a day to remember!
PLEASE NOTICE: the local transport in Vidigal is usually a moto taxi
