Itinerary
Day 1: Climb the Aleixo ramp, Pati viewpoint and Cristais Waterfall
Stop At: Chapada Diamantina National Park, Chapada Diamantina National Park, State of Bahia
We will leave by car at 8:00 am, after breakfast, to Guinea, beginning of the Pati trail. We will cross the Gerais do Vieira, large undulating expanses covered by several rivers with waterfalls. At the edge of one of them, the Cachoeira dos Cristais, we will enjoy our trail snack and take a delicious bath.

We will continue along the Trilha dos Tropeiros, which has a stunning view over the Serra do Sincorá, whose vegetation is rupestrian field, insectivorous plants, orchids and evergreens (Paepalanthus). Here you can also find the saw-footed hawks, usually in pairs. Lodging at the home of natives in the upper Pati (D. Raquel or Mr. Wilson). Delicious dinner with farm ingredients.

Day 2: Castle Hill and Funis Waterfall
Stop At: Parque Nacional Da Chapada Diamantina, Lencois, State of Bahia 46960-000 Brazil
After breakfast, we will climb the Morro do Castelo. Arriving at the top, we will find the quartzite cave, at 1470 meters of altitude, and we will cross it with a flashlight to the observation point of Pati de Baixo. The view across the valley is impressive. We will have our trail lunch in this spectacular place. On the way back, bath and relax at the Funis Waterfall. Dinner and accommodation at the home of natives (D. Raquel or Mr. Wilson).

Day 3: Cachoeirão de Cima, Serra do Esbarrancado

After breakfast, we will pass through the beautiful general areas of Rio Preto until we reach a privileged point of unforgettable beauty, the Cachoeirão do Pati. The look extends to the ascent of the Empire and embraces the infinite sensuality of the mountain. We will be able to see the hummingbird with a red tie, endemic to Chapada, and the fern, a prehistoric plant. Dinner and accommodation at the home of natives (D. Raquel or Mr. Wilson).

Day 4: Pati de Cima - Empire Bridge

After breakfast, we will cross the Pati Valley following the main river. We will observe the beautiful riparian vegetation with some farmers' houses. We will have a snack in the old city hall, a school building that serves as a refuge.
On this day, we will walk around 5:00 am with stops to swim in the river and contemplate the beautiful landscape. We will reach the next valley, the Cachoeirão, which is home to the bearded monkey. Dinner and overnight at the natives' house (Mr. Massu).
