Just a few minutes from Tulum, its one of the best secrets of this beautiful destination. Come and join us into this adventure where we will cross the same route within the Sian Ka'an Reserve that the ancient Mayans used with their canoes thousands of years ago, that connects the Caribbean Sea with the Muyil community.
During this experience you will be able to meet three main lagoons. The lagoons of Muyil, Chunyaxche and Capelchen all connected by means of water channels, two of them of fresh water and one of brackish water (due to the proximity of the sea), within the reserve in the middle of the canals and lagoons there is a Mayan temple practically in the middle of the reserve known as Ixlapak. This temple was used by the mayans as an astral observatory.
