Visitors will be given a hands-on experience into traditional Albanian cuisine. We will bring you back to our roots through a unique learning experience of our ancient culinary customs both in theory and practice! 'Master Chef' Sokol Prenga has created a unique setting and menu which allows one to get in depth into the history and journey of Albanian culinary culture from its' origins to its modern day form. Our traditional cooking classes will take about 4-5 hours, where we will take you step by step through all aspects of Albanian cuisine-appetizers, main dishes, desserts and spirits!
Sample Menu
• Pite - Albanian pie with home-streched thin filo dough, filled with and named after its contents: spinach, (minced/ground) meat, leek, and feta cheese pita.
• Traditional Albanian Breads - Bukë Kallamoqe, Bukë Misri, Kulaç, Pogaçe, Kamkuçe
Traditional Corn and Wheat flour breads
• Tavë Kosi (Baked Casserole) - A baked casserole with yogurt and lamb
