On your sightseeing tour in Kampala City, you will explore the below attractions:

• Uganda Parliament Building
• Central Bank of Uganda: Established in 1966
• Uganda National Cultural Centre: Established on 2nd December 1959
• Kampala City Hall: Kampala Capital City Authority headquarters
Continue down town towards Buganda king's palace and see:
• Nakasero Market: Established in 1895 first in Lubiri and later moved to its current location within the city center in 1905.
• Shree Swaminarayan Mandir Temple
• Usafi Market
Stop At: Kabaka's Palace, Lubiri Ring Road, Kampala Uganda
On your visit to Buganda Kingdom, you will explore the interesting history and culture of the Baganda. Visiting highlights such as:
• Kabaka(king’s) palace; see the Idd Amin torture chambers, a historical machine gun, the palace pictorial, explore Buganda’s rich history and with a drive past Kabaka’s Lake.
• Sightseeing Nantawetwa monument; built to honor the King on his straight drive from the palace to his kingdom parliament. According to the Baganda, the king is meant to move straight and that is why He's is the only one to drive through the monument and the rest have to go around the roundabout.
• Sightseeing Bulange (Buganda Parliament); Lukiiko hall, Kabaka’s monument, Central Broadcasting Services studios (Buganda radio) and Zakaria Kisingiri house.
Continue driving through Mengo Town, Buganda's principal town.

Stop At: Gaddafi National Mosque, 8H89+8FM, Kampala, Uganda
Your tour continues through Mengo town to OLD KAMPALA; here you will visit:
• Gadhafi Mosque; funded by the late Col. Muammar Gadhafi as a gift to Uganda due to the friendship with Libya. The best location for a panoramic view of Kampala City.
• Sightseeing Fort Lugard; built by Sir Fredrick Lugard in the 1800’s as his command center. As well as sightseeing Old Kampala Senior Secondary School; which is over 60 years and was once President Kagame’s school.
A drive through Old Kampala will take you down the memory-lane of Kampala back in the 80’s, sighting old Asian residential buildings.

Stop At: Makerere University, 7062 University Rd, Kampala, Uganda
Approach the university via Aga Khan Schools from Old Kampala.
MAKERERE UNIVERSITY: This is Uganda’s largest and Africa’s 3rd oldest university, started as a trade school in 1921, later turned to a technical school in 1922 and in 1963, it changed to the University Of East Africa. Later on, in 1970 it turned independent.
Drive through the University sightseeing the:
• Old University Library; oldest academic library in Uganda established in 1949 and serves as a National reference library.
• Main Administration Building; completed in 1941 under the leadership of Mr. George C. Turner, the then principal.
• Education monument next to the old main library.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Baha'i Temple, Kikaya Hill, Kampala Uganda
On exiting the University, you will approach another large local market (Kalerwe Market) see locals going about their daily hustle for a living. Admire the fresh fruits and vegetables here.
Traverse the market, and approach Kikaya Hill – home of the Baha’i Temple.
• Visit Baha’i Temple (closed on Mondays & Fridays): This is the only temple for Baha’i faith in Africa, located north east of Kampala on Kikaya Hill-Kyebando Central. You will access the temple for a moment of prayer and meditation and enjoy the gardens and views of Kampala’s suburbs.
Note: No cameras and maintain silence while in the temple.

Stop At: Uganda Museum, 5-7 Kira Road Pob 365, Kampala Uganda
Your day tour ends with a visit to our last historical landmark:
• Uganda National Museum: This is the first and oldest museum in East Africa, officially established in by the British protectorate government in 1908 and later moved to its current location in 1954, it has just turned 100 years in 2008.
From the museum you will transfer back to your origin point. End of Tour
