Intended for Baroque art enthusiasts, this 3 hours tour will show you a number of interesting sights by following the footsteps of Caravaggio. You will relish in the dramatic contrast of light and dark, good and evil – both in Caravaggio's art and in his tormented life.

Accompanied by your expert, entertaining guide you will discover all the places where the artist lived, worked and most of all, you will visit places where his masterpieces are housed in Rome: the Basilica of Santa Maria del Popolo, the Basilica of St Augustine, and the Church of St. Louis of the French.

Stop At: Chiesa di Santa Maria del Popolo, Piazza del Popolo 12 Campo Marzio, 00187 Rome Italy

The church is hemmed in between the Pincian Hill and Porta del Popolo, one of the gates in the Aurelian Wall as well as the starting point of Via Flaminia, the most important route from the north. Its location made the basilica the first church for the majority of travellers entering the city. Stop At: Church of St. Louis of the French, Piazza San Luigi de' Francesi, 00186 Rome Italy

The church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, to St. Denis the Areopagite and St. Louis IX, king of France. The church was designed by Giacomo della Porta and built by Domenico Fontana between 1518 and 1589, and completed through the personal intervention of Catherine de' Medici, who donated to it some property in the area. It is the national church in Rome of France.

Sant'Agostino is a Roman Catholic church in the piazza of the same name near Piazza Navona, in the rione Sant'Eustachio, of Rome, Italy. It is one of the first Roman churches built during the Renaissance. Adjacent to the church is the Biblioteca Angelica, a library founded in 1605.
