Fly to Mikumi National Park Tanzania Safari from Zanzibar
Mikumi National Park is known as the ideal park for travelers who have less time to visit other bigger game reserves. It is popular because one can still have a similar experience and see wildlife such as lions, zebras, antelopes and hippos without travelling to northern Tanzania parks.
Mikumi is considered Tanzania's 4th largest national park. Your safari experience begins with a drive from Dar es Salaam towards Mikumi National Park for about 4-5 hours.
Those already in Zanzibar can also come for this tour. You will need to cross the ocean channel with an Azam ferry boat early in the morning. We will pick you up from the ferry station in Dar es Salaam and start your trip to Mikumi.

Itinerary
Day 1: Zanzibar to Mikumi.
Stop At: Mikumi National Park, Mikumi National Park, Morogoro Region
Pick-up from Zanzibar hotel or port and drive to the airport. You will then fly to Mikumi National Park, The flight is about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Mikumi you will proceed to enter the park gates and enjoy game drive experience.
Lunch is included in this offer.
In the evening you will all board the plane and return back to Zanzibar. You will picked from the airport and dropped off at your hotel.
Mikumi NP has a variety of animals and you will be able to see the Big 5 minus the Rhinos. There are many animals in the park and the likes of Zebras and Giraffes are everywhere at Mikumi.

Day 2: Mikumi National Park- Dar es salaam
Stop At: Mikumi National Park, Mikumi National Park, Morogoro Region
Spend a half day game drive at the Mikumi National Park after breakfast.
Mikumi National Park is part of the larger Selous ecosystem together with the Selous Game Reserve and harbours remarkable numbers of bird species and animals. The animals that can be spotted at Mikumi NP include giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, impalas, warthogs, zebras, wildebeests, elands, lions and many other antelopes.
Exit the park before mid day and drive back to Dar es Salaam where the safari ends.
