Day 1: Drive from Fez to the Erg Chebbi Dunes (Sahara Desert)

Stop At: Omega Tour, Fes 30000 Morocco
Following an early morning pick up at your accommodations in Fez, we will hit the road and drive directly to our destination, the Erg Chebbi Dunes on the cusp of the vast Sahara Desert.
On our way you will enjoy watching the beautiful sceneries.
First, we will pass through the alpine mountains of Middle Atlas, rich with oak and cedar trees, lakes, and Barbary ape colonies.
We will stop in Ifran the Moroccan Switzerland . Late, we will stop for lunch in province of Midelt as we enter into the picturesque arid Oasis Valley.
Soon thereafter, we will find ourselves in Tafilalt Oasis, a region rich in palm groves, underground rivers, and traditional mud brick architecture.
We will finish this exciting day with our late afternoon arrival to our destination the Erg Chebbi Dunes -Merzouga, right on the cusp of the desert, where we will have dinner and spend the night in a hotel.

Day 2: Explore the Sahara Desert

Stop At: Merzouga, Morocco
Sleep in or take our advice and wake up early to catch the sunrise over the sand dunes.
After breakfast you will be able to spend your day exploring the desert surrounding Merzouga as you like.
Possible activities include: visiting the historical towns and palm groves around the Tafilalt Oasis (Rissani, Merzouga, ) , visiting Khamlia village to hear Gnawa music, or relaxing around the desert tents.
In the late afternoon, once the day heat has subsided, we will trek out via camel back to a Berber camp site in the middle of the sand dunes, far away from the worries of the world.
Here your Berber hosts will cook traditional desert meals for you such as a delicious dish called Madfona and you may get the chance to drink camel's milk , while teaching you about their culture.
Spend the evening huddled around the camp fire, venture out into the desert, or lie on a sand dune and gaze at the stars.

Day 3: Drive from the Erg Chebbi Dunes to Fez

Stop At: Merzouga, Merzouga, Draa-Tafilalet
Sleep in or take our advice and wake up early to catch the sunrise over the sand dunes.
After a hardy breakfast, we will ride out of the desert on camel back to the town on the edge of the desert.
There you will be able to shower and refresh yourself in a hotel before we begin the long back drive to Fez.
