SCUBA DIVING OPTION For Beginners in Phu Quoc Island
This course is done in a small-group setting with a maximum of 1 People per Instructor Enjoy an amazing diving experience open to everybody from 10 years old and up. You will learn the basics of scuba diving and have a great time.
Discover Scuba Diving is your chance to get wet and experience what scuba diving is all about. This is the experience program for someone who would like to try SCUBA Diving with us without committing to a full certification course. The try scuba program with our Dive Center takes only few hours, starts with an explanation of basic diving theory and explains about equipment, equalizing and breathing techniques, then go into shallow water for acclimatization and some skills practice. Then take you on a shallow water dive to a maximum depth of 6-12 meters.
For DSD program, you are closely supervised by a professional instructor or dive master.

An island-hopping focused experience for guests who just look for a regular & easy snorkeling experience like other tours at a low price.
Apart from Soft-adventure Snorkeling trips for advanced snorkelers and divers or for those who want to do real snorkeling and to explore hidden coral spots, learn more about corals in Phu Quoc, OnBird offers the best option of island hopping with a basic snorkeling sessions on a touristy-avoiding route in day-time. We wont visit too many islands but we visit untouched and peaceful ones to stay away from crowded groups and white away the time at a natural beach.
The tour is limited to 8 - 10 PAX only (Not visiting crowded & touristy islands: Fingernail & May Rut & Hon Thom & Hon Buom...).
*ITINERARY*
- 8:10: Pick up from the hotels in arround the center
- 9:10: Arrive at An Thoi harbour, embark our speedboat to small islands
- 9:40: Stop at the first site: Snorkeling in 45-50 minutes (We put the anchor at the sandy area for the protection of corals)
- 10:50: Stop at the second snorkeling site: Snorkeling in 45-50 minutes
- 12:10: Visit an untouched island without restaurant for the pinic meal and beach relaxing with fruit/fruit juice/cocktail and pinic meal.
- Relax at a untouched beach without touristy big groups to recharge your energy
- 14:00: Take a visit to Hon Vong for a wander before going back the harbour
- 15:00: Back to your hotel at around 16:00
For the purpose of environmental as well as marine protection, small-fishing with traditional reels are not added into all the itineraries except Deep-sea Fishing
