Pass By: Langa, Cape Town, 7456, South Africa

Leaving Cape Town towards east. Our journey into the wine country will take us past some of cape Town and South Africa's most well known townships. The first one Langa, is the oldest township in Cape Town. Compared to other squatter like townships of South Africa, Langa is well developed and has seen a local economy here grow from strength to strength over the years. Some of the new notable Industries here includes ceramic manufacturing, Traditional South African Bistros as well as filming. Safe house by Denzell Washington is one of the most famous movies that were filmed here.

Pass By: Khayelitsha, Khayelitsha, Western Cape

Khayelitsha is Xhosa for ' Our New Home'. Situated 20 minutes east of Langa. Measuring 10 square miles and inhabiting more than half million people. It is the biggest and most populous township in Cape Town. Khayelitsha also has her own local economy, but the vast majority of her inhabitants travels daily to the City for work. Some of Khayelitsha's residents also work in the rich wine lands of Stellenbosch, as this is much closer to them compared to the City.

Pass By: Vergenoegd Low The Wine Estate, Baden Powell Drive Faure, Stellenbosch 7131 South Africa

Stellenbosch is known to be the second oldest colonial town in South Africa, and after only Cape Town. Her Architecture, water furrows as well over 300 years old oak trees gives one a nostalgic feeling of a bygone era. Dorp street for example has the longest row of oldest buildings in the Southern Hemisphere. Your guide will give a chance to explore the town on foot and also an orientation of the town.

Stop At: Delaire Graff Estate, Helshoogte Pass R310, Stellenbosch 7600 South Africa

Known as the Jewel of the Cape Winelands. With breathtaking Banghoek Valley views from the terrace, savour seasonal bistro-chic dishes with a South African twist at Delaire Graff Restaurant. Shaded by ancient oak trees, the broad wooden terrace at Delaire Graff Restaurant embraces sweeping views of the vineyards and olive groves from Simonsberg Peak across the Banghoek Valley. Guest will also have an opportunity to include a winetasting here provided that the time allows.

Stop At: Franschhoek, Franschhoek, Western Cape

Franschoek is one of the oldest towns in South Africa. It has centuries of old vineyards and Cape Dutch Architecture. This town is also known to be the heart for food and wine in the country. It is also situated in one of the most beautiful wine valleys in the world.
At the bottom of the road, we will find the Huguenot Monument. It dates back to the 17th and 18th century, when the French came to settle here.
Your guide will give you time to walk around, TIME PERMITTING.

Stop At: Haute Cabriere, Lambrechts Road, Franschhoek 7690 South Africa

Haute Cabriere has been part of the DNA of the South African wine lover since its inception, inspiring supporters to live and enjoy the art of life. Situated on the Franschoek Pass, Haute Cabriere has been creating wines from Burgundian Cultivars for the past 25 years. Founder and propieter Achim Von Arnim's passion for these varietals has aways been the inspiration behind both the Pierre Jourdan and Haute Cabriere wine ranges.
Today, second generation Cellar Master, Takuan Von Arnim has continued this philosophy, while adding his personal stamp to the much-loved wines. Haute Cabriere offers visitors the perfect canvas to live beautifully. Here guest will do wine tasting.

Stop At: Groot Drakenstein Prison, On the R301 Road 5 Km from the R45 Huguenot Road, Breede River, Witzenberg Municipality South Africa

Formely known as Victor Verster. This prison was home to our late Nelson Mandela for the last fourteen months of his long political imprisonment. Described by Mandela as a 'gilded cage', his time at this prison was a combination of luxury and confinement. Mandela was not given a cell while being in prison here, but a comfortable Villa, with numerous bedrooms, a swimming pool, a personal chef and a view of the Breathtaking Drakenstein Mountains. This was his last imprisonment, before he became a free man in February 1990.
The Sexwhale Family Foundation commissioned a Long Walk To Freedom State in honor of Mr.Mandela.
