Before visiting the the park, we will adventure through Walnut Canyon National Monument (another fantastic view to take in!) which is full of some of the best preserved Native cliff dwellings in the southwest. We will explore the dwellings alongside the canyon the same way they did. This includes SEVERAL FLIGHTS OF STAIRS we have to navigate.
Next on the drive is Route 66 via Holbrook and stop for lunch in town.
We then take 4 hrs to explore the PFNP and travel North hitting most of the sites within the park. All with easy walking.
