200 years ago, long before Tango landed in Buenos Aires, there was a cultural explosion in Santiago del Estero, a northern Argentine province. The crossing of Spanish colonizers with the native peoples of the area gave rise to this new cultural DNA, today known as the folklore of Santiago del Estero.

In "Buenos Aires, more than Tango" you will have the chance to learn the story of "Los Abalos", 5 brothers born in Santiago del Estero. They were the first to bring this culture to Buenos Aires back in 1940 where Tango was the musical star. They were a unique case in the world of 5 brothers who played together for 60 years!
