Itinerary

Great scenic hike through the heart of Sierra Espadán natural park. Before starting the route we will fisit an artisan cheese shop and try their delecious goat and sheep cheese. We will get the best panoramic views of the natural park, including the most famous peak - Pico Espadán. In the second half of the hike we will pass through cork oak forests, characteristic of this area and visit an old abandonded cork factory.
The route is 12 kilometers long and has around 400 meters of elevation gain. The very first part is quite steep, so you need to be in shape for this hike. The route gets easier after the initial 2 kilometers.
