Icelandic food tasting & city walk - PRIVATE TOUR
A private tour with a local and personal touch. We will take you on a walk around the old Reykjavík, visiting the highlights and landmarks of the city and introducing you to the culture, history, customs and the people as well as trying the traditional food. We will visit a hidden traditional restaurant where you will have a taste of the food and learn about the food culture in Iceland, that has changed dramatically during the last century. You will also try some traditional pastries and delicious ice cream.

Stop At: Hallgrimskirkja, Hallgrimstorgi 1, Reykjavik 101 Iceland
The tour starts at Hallgrímskirkja. a short tour around and inside the church and then we take you to a local restaurant where you will have a taste of Icelandic traditional food. the menu is mainly fish based, which is the traditional food in Iceland. You will try the free range organic lamb as well. If you are a vegetarian, we can arrange vegetarian meal for you.
After the food tasting experience, we will walk with you through the city and have a taste of ice cream and Icelandic pastries at a local traditional Café. The tour ends downtown Reykjavík, in front of the Althingi, the parliament of Iceland.
