In the heart of old Delhi, capital and residential fort of Mughal dynasty for over 200 years. Red Fort houses a number of museums, courtyards and heritage sites constructed in 1639 by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.

Stop At: Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid), 6 km North of Connaught Pl. across from Lal Qila, New Delhi India

The largest mosque in Delhi commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in between 1644 and 1656, which can accommodate more than 25,000 peoples each time for prayer.

Officially Bahai House of Worship in Delhi, notable for its flowerlike shape. CNN reported Lotus Temple is the most visited building in Delhi as well as in the world in 2001.

Stop At: Birla Mandir Temple (Lakshmi Narayan), Connaught Place, New Delhi 110002 India

It was the first large Hindu temple built in Delhi and inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi. The temple is spread over 7.5 acres, adorned with many shrines, fountains, and a large garden with Hindu and Nationalistic sculptures.
