Timang island becomes the main attraction for tourists. Because there is Gondola or kind of cable car that can be used to cross Timang island. This Gondola was made in 1997 and was used by the fishermen who wanted to look for seafood such as lobster to cross the ocean because it was imposile for them to reach that island on boat since the waves and the sea water stream are heavy. Finally, this gondola was created to facilitate them in finding lobsters.Because of a lot of tourists are interested in this Gondola ride, this Gondola becomes the main attraction of Timang Beach. This gondola was made of acacia wood which is uses one or two stationary rope for moving support. It use the rope because the rope is more solid to sea water than iron and steel. Gondola can take only a person to cross to Timang island.
