Spend a full-day in a famous winter resort Gudauri and enjoy with stunning mountainous landscapes. One Day Skiing tour will take you to Ananuri fortress and Gudauri resort which is a fantastic place for Ski lovers. Here are 5 different levels of ski routes, starting from the easiest one for beginners finishing to the hardest one for real extreme lovers. Here you can take private ski instructor, rent all necessary ski equipment and skiing for full-day – the things that we can organize for you.

Stop At: Zhinvali, Georgia

Zhinvali (Jinvali) water reservoir, also known as a lake is located on the Georgian Military Highway. Soviets constructed the dam in the 1980s. As Tbilisi was growing rapidly, there was a need of a new water supply. Government decided that the Aragvi Gorge rich with glacier water was the perfect spot.

ANANURI, A CASTLE COMPLEX PERCHED along the turquoise waters of the Aragvi River, is a prime example of Georgia’s unique blended architectural aesthetic. It was home to the Aragvi feudal dynasty during the 18th century, and was the staging grounds of numerous battles that Georgians both won and lost.

It’s a miracle the complex still stands today, given all the battles it hosted. The fortress, which dates to the 17th century, bore witness to centuries of battles, the massacre of the Aragvi clan, multiple peasant revolts, and fire. After surviving hundreds of years of turmoil, the complex eventually fell out of use in the 19th century.

The ski resort Gudauri is located in Mtskheta-Mtianeti (Georgia). For skiing and snowboarding, there are 34.8 km of slopes available. 15 lifts transport the guests.
Gudauri is the largest and highest ski resort in Georgia and it continues to grow at a rapid pace. Mt. Sadzele (3,307 m) is accessed by lifts up to 3,279 m elevation. There are slopes of all difficulty levels for skiing and snowboarding and the slopes are FIS certified. The winter sports resort also lures visitors with its freeriding and heli-skiing opportunities. Large quantities of natural snow make the surrounding peaks on the border between Europe and Asia an ideal territory for powder enthusiasts. The winter sports resort is located on the Kreuz Pass, about 120 km north of Tbilisi. A modern ski resort for all types of skiing has developed here, in the middle of the Caucasus mountains away from mass tourism. Cat skiing, night skiing, cross-country trails, ski tours and snow tubing are also offered in Gudauri.
