Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Pass By: Cairo International Airport Road, Cairo Int'l Airport Rd, Sheraton Al Matar, El Nozha, Cairo Governorate, Egypt
Arrival in Cairo; meet and greet at Cairo International Airport by a Mody Egypt Tours representative. You will be transferred to your hotel with check-in assistance. After an information meeting, you will spend the rest of the day to your leisure.

Day 2: Cairo – Giza Pyramids – Saqqara
Pass By: Giza, Giza, Giza Governorate
Breakfast and pick up for your official introduction to Cairo. Your first day will be inundated in ancient history and starts at the Giza Plateau where your first impression will be the overwhelming sight of the Great Sphinx. You visit the pyramids of Menkaure, Cheops and Chefren; dating from approx. 2580-2560BC. Your next stop is the Saqqara Plateau; another UNESCO heritage site, with the impressive step pyramid of Djoser, the first successful attempt to a fully functional pyramid.

Day 3: Alexandria – Amphitheater – Pompey's Pillar – Qaitbay Citadel
Pass By: City Centre Alexandria, Alexandria Cairo Desert Road, Alexandria 11432 Egypt
After breakfast you drive to Alexandria, capital of Egypt under the Ptolemaic rulers. You start the tour with a visit to the grounds of the ancient Bibliotheca Alexandrina, followed by lunch in a good local restaurant. Your next visit will be to the Roman Amphitheater, the audience section consists of 13 rows of white European marble with columns made from granite out of Aswan. You continue the city tour with a stopover at Pompey's Pillar, a massive Corinthian column, build to carry a statue of Emperor Dioclatian. The last visit, before returning to Cairo will be a tour of the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th century fortification in the Harbor of Pharos Island. You will be brought back to Cairo.

Day 4: Museum of Egyptian Antiquities – Citadel – Khan el Khalili

After breakfast you will start the day with a Cairo City Tour with the first stop at the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities with artifacts from tombs, temples and palaces throughout Egypt from ancient dynasties. You will have a guided tour but also enough time to wander around. After lunch in a good authentic restaurant you will continue to Islamic Cairo, dominated by the Saladin Citadel, an 800 year old fortress and residence where you visit the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. You conclude the day with a shopping opportunity in the famous Khan el Khalili Bazar, stimulation to the senses with explosions of color, sounds, smell of bakhoor and spices and Egyptian hospitality.

Day 5: Transfer to the Nile Cruise & Aswan Tours
Pass By: Aswan, Aswan, Aswan Governorate, Nile River Valley
Mody Egypt tours licensed tour guide will meet and assist you at Aswan railway station or hotel to be transferred by A/C van to your 5 star Nile Cruise to check in before lunch. Have lunch on board
Then, start your tour by visiting the High Dam; achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electric.
Proceed to visit the Graeco Roman Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. Later on, return back to your cruise for Dinner, folkloric show and Overnight

Day 6: Abu Simbel Temple & Navigation to Kom Ombo Temple
Pass By: Abu Simbel, Abu Simbel, Aswan Governorate, Nile River Valley
Around 4:30, your guide will pick you up for Abu Simbel trip (sharing a small group). Arrive around 8 am, to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel with their unique design built for King Ramses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Back to the Cruise by noon to have your lunch and sailing heading to Kom Ombo city.
Arrive at Kom Ombo city where to visit the dual temple of Sobek, the crocodile God and Horus, the falcon God. Back to the cruise and have dinner. Continue sailing to Edfu for overnight.

Day 7: Edfu Temple & Arrive Luxor (visit Luxor Temple)
Pass By: Edfu, Edfu, Nile River Valley
After your breakfast, experience Horse Carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the temple of Horus at Edfu which is considered to be the most complete and the best preserved of all the Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise. Relax on deck watching the unique landscape and admire the beautiful scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Luxor. Cross Esna Lock. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on sundeck
Late in the afternoon, arrive at your cruise dock, to be transferred to enjoy Luxor temple on the East bank of Luxor, where ancient Egyptian, Christian and Islamic features are exhibited. Dinner on board with belly dancing show and Overnight in Luxor
Note: if your arrival at Luxor dock by 3:00 or 3:30 pm, then we have chance to visit both Karnak and Luxor Temples.

Day 8: Balloon Ride, Luxor Tour & departure transfer

Begin around 5:00 am pick up for the incredible trip of 30 to 45 minutes Hot Air Balloon flight over the west bank of Luxor and enjoy an aerial view of the country's landscape and famous landmarks. Enjoy the sunrise illuminating the sky of the open air museum city (Luxor) over the great temples and mountains below.
Pass By: Valley of the Kings, Luxor City, Luxor 85511 Egypt
Breakfast and start your unforgettable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies.
Then, to the Mortuary temple of the famous queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari, discover her beautiful temple and her attractive story with her nephew. End your tour in the West Bank by a photo stop in front of the gigantic statues of Memnon. Lunch time in a local restaurant (optional)
Back to the East Bank to see the largest temple ever; Karnak Temple built through 2000 years, covering an area of about 63 acres. Have nice pics between its huge pillars and obelisks.
Finally, transfer to Luxor Airport to fly to Cairo and overnight in Cairo Hotel.

Day 9: Final Departure

After early Breakfast and at around 05h30 you will be brought to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home.
