Join us for an unforgettable coffee and local cuisine experience at the local farm in Ambureni village near Mountain Meru. Learn the history of coffee plantations in Tanzania, get in touch with local culture and farming traditions at our delicious gastronomy tour.

On the farm, among magnificent serene jungle, you will personally handpick beans from the coffee plants, and our stuff will guide you through each step of coffee making. Then later you will have an opportunity to try a large selection of traditional Tanzanian dishes prepared on the bonfire by local mamas. Finally, finish off with a cup of delicious, fully prepared by you, African coffee.

• Chapati (Tanzanian pancakes) - Served with beans, Green vegetables or Meat/Stew
• mchicha (Green vegetables) - served with Rice, Chapati, Ugali, Potatoes etc
• Ugali - Served with green vegetables and beans
• Pilau (Rice / Fried rice) - Served with vegies
• Ndizi (Banana roasted and Stew) - Roasted banana are served with veggies and Banana stew can be served with other available food.
• Maharage (Beans mixed with vegetables) - Served with Rice, Chapati, Banana, Ugali, Potatoes etc
• Viazi (Potatoes boiled, fried/chips, stew etc - Potatoes are served with veggies and other food on the buffet
• Matunda (Fruits) - fruits of the current season Avocadoes/Mangoes/Papayas/Cucumbers/Watermelons/Bananas etc
• Tambi (Tanzanian Super-gates mixed with veggies) - Saved with Stew, beans or green vegetables

• Coffee and/or Tea - You will taste our wonderful coffee that we will prepare / process it by ourselves starting from dried coffee beans until we make a cup of coffee and taste it together on the tree house.
• Snacks - Handmade snacks, Biscuits, Popcorn etc
• Lunch - If you book a full tour (Organic coffee tour and Local food experience), you will have a chance to taste different local food cooked from firewood and charcoal using Clay pots made though Pottery.
