Stop At: Akhtala Monastery, Off 1st Raffi St., Akhtala Armenia
First stop is the fortified monastery of Akhtala with its incredible and unique frescoes and an interesting history of Georgian and Armenian influence.

Stop At: Haghpat Monastery, next to Saint Nshan Church, Haghpat 1722 Armenia
The UNESCO world heritage site Haghpat is located deep in the rocky mountains of Lori province and holds many interesting relics and legends

Stop At: Monastery of Sanahin, Alaverdi 1705 Armenia
The monastery of Sanahin was founded in X century as a mix of Byzantine and Caucasian religious architectural traditions. The complex soon became famous for its academy of calligraphy, medicine and law.
