Explore two charming districts, Lesser Town and Hradcany, which contain most of Prague’s governmental palaces and embassies. Along this unique route you’ll see world famous sites including Prague Castle, Strahov Monastery and Charles Bridge. We’ll also take you to the well hidden “New World” neighborhood, the revolutionary John Lennon Wall, and the city’s top panorama viewpoints.

ON THIS TOUR: As part of a small group, you get up hill by a tram, hear the Czech history intro to get a context, then you can enjoy a "welcome" special local monastery beer (or other drink).
We will make stops along the way and show you the more hidden parts away from souvenirs and crowds, as well as the high-profile sights such as Charles Bridge, Prague Castle or John Lennon Wall.
In 2/3 of the tour, you will sit around table and taste samples of the traditional Czech cuisine.
The idea for this concept was: "Let’s say you only have 1 day to spend in Prague, what would be the best possible activity to do, to learn about the city history, today’s life and culture?"
We also provide you with our guidebook - where we like to eat and drink, what are our favorite parts of Prague.

After we exit tram, we start walking through "The Castle District" - equally beautiful and much less chaotic compared to Prague’s Old Town.

This church complex is a perfect stop to talk the complicated relationship between organized religion and today’s Czech Republic.

In our opinion, this is the most amazing neighborhood in Prague. Charming, still surprisingly unknown and well hidden. One of the highlights!

We stop outside the main gate, to tell you about the largest medieval castle complex in the world. Sometimes the timing is just right and we can even watch the main change of the guards (at noon)

Another iconic view where we can see for example the famous Dancing House - 90’s modern art building inspired by classic Hollywood musicals.

Back on the "Royal Path", we walk to the Jansky Vrsek area and go enjoy the local food tasting part - we always book a table at St. Martin.

We explain the significance of this love and peace symbolizing art-covered wall. Let’s get more into the cold war time anti-Soviet resistance.

We get to one of the most beautiful city island in Europe.

• "Hermelin" fermented cheese - Type of Czech cheese that imitates camembert, with a coating of white mold. This is a very popular "beer" snack.
• Svickova - Traditional Czech dish - sirloin steak prepared with vegetables, spiced with bay leaf and thyme, boiled with double cream, served with dumplings.
• Utopenec - Sausage pickled with onions in a sweet-and-sour vinegar liquid, a beloved Czech speciality.
