In its first section, the calm waters of the river allow us to connect with nature and contemplate the beauty of the landscape framed by the imposing Cerro Fitz Roy and its satellite needles, in addition to eventually being able to see local fauna and birds. After having covered approximately 5 kms we cross the first rapid, which the guides call "Portage", after that first rapid begins a succession of rapids of approximately 10 kms, which will cause a lot of adrenaline, fun and will give you the right dose of adventure to an experience that will awaken all your senses and will make you experience Patagonia from a completely different perspective.

Itinerary
It is a rafting experience that takes place in the Río de las Vueltas, a river of glacial origin that rises in Lago del Desierto and flows into Lake Viedma.
We start at the Fitz Roy Rafting dome, where the guides will receive the passengers and provide them with the technical equipment.
Once dressed, they walk (50 meters) with the guides to the entrance area to the river, where the technical and safety talk of the activity is given. The first section of the river is 6 km of calm and winding waters, an opportunity to contemplate Cerro Fitz Roy and its satellite needles, the Andean forest, the steppe and eventually native fauna and avifauna, it is the ideal moment to make contact with the raft and practice the explained paddling and safety techniques.
The second part advances over the canyon area. After the initial rapid called "Portage", we will find a succession of rapids from class III to III + for 10 km. It is the moment of adventure and adrenaline. Once the descent is finished, a truck awaits them to return to the base where they will change and enjoy a snack and a drink to recover energy.
