Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot is over 700 years old and surrounded by water and beautiful
historic gardens. It’s one of the oldest and best-preserved castles in the Netherlands and was
built in 1285 by a powerful count with a single clear goal in mind: defense. The castle has a
long and turbulent history.
