Full-Day Plitvice Lakes Tour from Split
Split, Croatia
Tour starts from the Split city centre at the arranged meeting point by bus or minivan. After leaving the city, we soon enter the highway and have an approximately 3-hour drive to the National park.
Upon arrival, guides will collect your entry tickets and lead you to the park. You will spend around 5 hours inside the park, and the guided tour will last about 4 - 4,5 hours. Besides the walk, we are going to explore Plitvice lakes by boat and electric train. Later, you have approximately half an hour of free time, and then we will start our trip back to Split. On our way back, you will be provided with snacks and a bottle of water.
On this tour, you will see one of the most beautiful natural phenomena in the world composed of sixteen lakes, connected by 92 waterfalls, which cascade through its picturesque surrounding. Plitvice Lakes were declared a National Park in 1949, and since 1979, they have been on the UNESCO’s List of World Natural Heritage.
