Stop At: Batalha Monastery, Largo Infante Dom Henrique 2440, Batalha 2440-484 Portugal
The Monastery of Batalha was erected in commemoration of the 1385 Battle of Aljubarrota and would serve as the burial church of the 15th-Century Portuguese royalty. It is one of the best and original examples of Late Gothic architecture in Portugal, combined with the Manueline style. This visit is optional.

Relax in Nazaré, known for the world’s biggest waves, surfing records, fisherman way of living and regional restaurants. You'll be thrilled by the view of the sea at the place of Sítio, a viewpoint with a fortress.

You will feel part of a fairy tale inside this beautiful medieval village, surrounded by castle walls. Walk by the narrow, sinuous and romantic streets and try the popular cherry liqueur Ginja.
