08:00am I will pick up you at hotel depart to Cuchi Tunnels with a pleasant 65km drive through the beautiful countryside with paddy fields and rubber plantations. You are going to visit a massive underground network located near by the area once called "Iron Triangle" and was the termination of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The tunnels were designed by local guerrillas as a "springboard for attacking saigon. "
The area was used for infiltrating Saigon-intelligence agents, part cadres, and sabotage teams. The Tết Offensive of 1968 was prepared and the necessary troops and supplies assembled in the Tunnels. The tunnels were used by Viet Cong guerrillas as hiding spots during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous guerrilla fighters. The role of the tunnel systems was so important to the Viet Cong in resisting American operations and protracting the war, and eventually persuading the weary Americans into withdrawal.

Have lunch at a local restaurant then we continue visiting the Mytho City, take a leisurely boat trip to Tortoise Island. Then disembark and go for a gentle stroll through the picturesque orchards and fruit garden. Enjoy a boat ride through TanThach natural canal in Ben Tre. Return to the water for a relaxing rowing boat ride along a small canal, cruising in the shade of the water coconut trees. Learn about bee-keeping and enjoy a cup of honey tea to the accompaniment of traditional Vietnamese folk music.
