The most popular beach in Cape Town and one of the Blue Flag Beaches. A place to see and be seen with trendy coffee shops, bars and restaurants.
A place dubbed the playground of the rich and famous as it attracts international celebrities and models. A favorite movie location especially in summer. With one of the most expensive hotels in Cape Town.
Explore this pure white sand beach with clear water and colorful beach umbrellas. Look out for hunks and beautiful beach bodies enjoying themselves especially in summer . An amazing photo location with the backdrop of Table Mountain and the 12 Apostles peaks.

Stop At: Hout Bay, Hout Bay, Western Cape

This tranquil village is a gem in Cape Town surrounded by mountains the ocean and the African blue sky. Home to the biggest fishing industry in Cape Town hence the fish processing factory at the harbor.
Grab the freshest fish and chips in town or grab a cup of coffee. Take a walk on the harbor and look out for seals out of water. Take a 1 hour ferry trip to seal island and encounter more than 5 000 seals at any one time.
Take a walk as you shop for art and craft at the harbor as you stretch before you proceed with this great experience. Look out for the many fishing boats in the bay.

Explore this architectural feat, an almost 10 km long scenic drive with 114 curves. Here are several photo spots where you can choose to stop for great photos.

The drive is cut off the Chapman's Peak Mountain and is a paradise for hiking, sightseeing, cycling, running or jogging. Explore this scenic drive which is part of the biggest single timed race in the world which draws up to 50 000 cyclists annually. It is also part of the 42 km annual marathon (The Two Oceans Marathon) which draws up to 35 000 runners.

Between June and November look out for whales gliding in couples along the coast. Explore this magnificent construction which worn South African engineers an award.

Coming to the end of this scenic drive is Chapman's bay or Long beach which is one of the 10 blue flag beaches in Cape Town. It is an 8 km long unspoiled beach with pure white sand and a shipwreck right in the centre. Time permitting take a horse ride the length and breath of the beach.

Stop At: Cape Point, Cape Point, Western Cape

Visit this iconic landmark, a place which shaped trade between East and West since the its discovery. Take a 10 min walk up to the upper funicular station before you take a flight of 62 steps to the lighthouse.

Alternatively take a ride in the funicular to the top before you take a healthy hike to the light house. Look out for the second lighthouse which was built after the first was condemned as it could not serve its purpose.

Explore the several look out points on the cliffs and grab amazing photos of the hanging cliffs. take a walk the Diaz Beach which is a beautiful beach with pure white sand but not suitable for swimming.

Go whale watching from this location as it forms part of the False Bay linked to the Walker bay known to attract travelers annually for whale watching. Take a walk in this place which has been declared one of the few places in the world with the freshest air.

Stop At: Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point Rd, Table Mountain National Park 8001 South Africa

Take a 45 minute adventure and leisure walk from Cape Point to this great location. Look out for the amazing bird life made up of 250 bird species in this nature reserve. Take a look at the attractive plant species dominated by the fynbos family. The most outstanding being the Protea - The South African national flower.

Explore this place for wild life some of which are the Chacma baboon, Zebras, Wild beast and the Antelopes. There is also an amazing array of critters and wild ostriches.It is quiet common to see baboons catching fish.

The coastline is also a major attraction with rounded boulders and continuous rolls of waves splashing against the rocks. Here is an abundant marine life with seals sunbathing on the boulders. This is the most south western tip of Africa hence it is on the list of many travelers.

Take selfies and group photos on the boards marked "Cape Of Good Hope" and a jaw dropping hanging cliff. This location has an amazing mist rolling almost all year round.

Visit this settlement which is one of the oldest in South Africa established in 1652. Explore on foot the main road which is lined by attractive colonial Dutch architecture and have been declared a national heritage.

The main road is lined with expensive antique shops, book shops, restaurants and a few art and craft shops. The clothing shops are full of old school but highly attractive designer clothing which are exclusive to Simon's Town.

Take a walk on the jetty and get close to the many fishing boats on the harbor. Look out for the war ships that include the Frigates and the submarines since this area is home to the South African Navy.

The surroundings landscape is something to marvel at with jagged edged mountains on one side and the False Bay on the other. This is a peaceful place admired by all travelers as they visit because of its unique setting and surroundings.

A visit to Cape Town is not complete without a visit to these flightless birds. Take a walk to Foxy beach along the wooden board walk and come up close to more than 3 000 penguins.

At this location you can easily spend the whole day as these adorable birds are simply attractive. Locals and international travelers do not have enough of them. On a good sunny day they can be seen all over even in the residential area in the neighborhood.

Time permitting take a dip with these adorable birds at the boulders' beach. Surrounded by huge boulders and a small sandy beach this is a very entertaining place for a family outing. Look out for the Dasy - a well nourished rock rabbit in the fynbos plants.
