During this day trip we will visit the old town of Ohrid. Situated on the shore of the lake with the same name is considered the largest town around the lake. The city was known under the ancient name Lychnidos probably meaning "city of light",

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Black Drin (Drini i Zi), Debar Republic of North Macedonia

We will stop for a short time in Struga to admire the Black Drini River source.
From Tirana to Struga including border procedure it takes about 2,5 hours.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Ohrid, Ohrid, Southwestern Region

Continue along the shore of the lake further to Ohrid where we start with a walking tour of the old town. To be visited: the The workshop for handmade paper, Saint Sofia Basilica, The ancient theatre, Samuel Fortress and Saint Clement Basilica and the roman ruins. Walking around the hill where spectacular views of the lake will be mixed with the beauty of Kaneo church.

Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Monastery of St. Naum, Monastery, North Macedonia

Continue our driving along the shore to reach the last Macedonian part before we head towards Albania. Saint Naum Monaastery where the Saint himself is buried inside the church. A short boat trip to enjoy the springs of the lake before we take the way “back home”.
