Itinerary

Day 1: Aswan Sightseeing

Stop At: Aswan High Dam, Manteqet As Sad Al Aali, Aswan Egypt
Our Nesobity Travel Egyptologist Guide will pick you up from Hotel / Airport to Start your journey in Aswan. A day tour to visit the nicest city of Egypt, town of charm and beauty it is land of Nubia. Its monuments have especial impression of Greek-Roman era. The Greeks and Romans are influenced in the ancient Egyptian culture, religion and architects, however they decided to merge it with their heritage when they rebuilt the ruined temples. Ptolemaic period started in 332 B.C by Alexander the great when he invaded Egypt to liberate them from Persians and to establish his own great Empire. On the way to visit Aswan sightseeing you will have a look and drive over the oldest dam in Egypt the low Aswan dam that built in 1898. Probably the first tour will be the High-Dam distinctly is one of the biggest dams in the world was built in 1960. Enjoy seeing the reservoir “artificial lake Naser”, friendship monument and power-plants.

Stop At: Temple of Philae, Island of Agilika, Aswan Egypt
Secondly a water trip to Philae Island located in the middle of the Nile and was dedicated to the goddess Isis. You will be able to visit a complex of Geek-Roman chapels and Phiela temple. The entire complex is moved from its original location on Phiela Island to Egilika Island to salvage it from submerging when the dams were built there.

Stop At: Unfinished Obelisk, Sheyakhah Oula, Aswan Egypt
Thirdly a visit to the ancient quarry where the Unfinished Obelisk is lying down there. This place explains how the ancient Egyptians cut numerous obelisks in there to be founded in their ancient temples. Finally, Back to cruise. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 2: Sailing from Aswan to Kom Ombo

Stop At: Temple of Kom Ombo, Nagoa Ash Shatb, Kom Ombo 81611 Egypt
Breakfast onboard, leisure in the morning. Lunch on board, whilst sailing to Kom Ombo town. English tea time on the sundeck then a tour to Kom Ombo Temple & Crocodile museum. Temple of Kom Ombo is unique designed architecture located just few steps on the east bank of Nile river, it is divided equally between Sobek “crocodile god” and Horus “falcon god”. There are two long access are leading to two interior sanctuaries. Again, back to the cruise navigating to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.

Day 3: Sailing from Edfu to Luxor

Stop At: Temple of Horus, Adfo, Edfu Egypt
The guide will accompany you to visit one of the most preserved Greek-Roman achievements in Egypt it is Edfu temple. Edfu temple is dedicated to the cult of Horus (Falcon God 237 B.C). Obviously, you will see the second tallest Pylon (temple’s facade) in Egypt and observe the inscriptions of important legends of struggle between Horus and his uncle Seth “god of evil”. Return to the cruise navigating to Esna where crossing two locks through the Nile and seeing the elevation process from the sundeck is exceptional.

Stop At: Luxor Temple, Luxor 23512 Egypt
Once arrived at Luxor, the guide will move with you to visit Luxor temple. Luxor temple which has alive evidences to many civilizations and religions that been practiced inside its walls for thousands of years related to Pharaonic, Coptic and Islamic. It was built by Amenhotep III in the 18th Dynasty about 1300 B.C. to prove his rights in the rule of Egypt by representing the story of his divine birth on the walls of divine birth room inside the temple. Also, Ramses II and Tut Ankh Amon put their fingerprints on the completion of the temple since Luxor was the capital of Egypt during the New Kingdom era. Back to cruise. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor Over day

Stop At: Valley of the Kings, Luxor City, Luxor 85511 Egypt
Breakfast on board and check out from the cruise to explore such a golden era at one of the ancient Egyptian capitals. The guide will accompany you to cross to the west bank. First visit to the Valley of the Kings, the valley contains 63 royal tombs within the New Kingdom era 1500 B.C. The reason of choosing the west bank in the burial, because of the dry environment, adequate Limestone queries and to keep their tombs and the royal mummies obscured from the robbers. The walls of these tombs are containing incredible carvings and inscriptions indicating the religious life of the Pharaohs.

Stop At: Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, Kings Valley Rd Deir el-Bahari, Luxor 23512 Egypt
Then proceed to Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. It is such a unique temple in its architectural style. Where it contains inscriptions of the royal journey to Puntland. And visions of the divine birth of the Queen Hatshepsut. The limestone mortuary temple of Hatshepsut was designed and constructed by the high priest and architecture Senenmut 1503 B.C.

Stop At: Colossi of Memnon, Thebes, Luxor Egypt
Later you will be listening to the legendary story of Colossi of Memnon in a granary area.

Stop At: Valley of the Queens, Luxor Egypt
The Valley of the Queens is a site in Egypt, where the wives of pharaohs were buried in the Pharaonic period. It was known then as Ta-Set-Neferu, meaning "the place of beauty". It was most famous for being the burial site of many wives of Pharaohs. Pharaohs themselves were buried in the Valley of the Kings.

Stop At: Temple of Karnak, Karnak, Luxor Egypt
Eventually, a visit to the complex of Karnak temples. Karnak Temple is one of the biggest Temples in the entire world, here you have the chance to visit the Sacred Lake and the huge Scarab Statue which apparently if you walk around a few times brings you good luck as may your wishes come true. Karnak Temples were built in dedication to the triad of Thebes God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. finally, you will be transferred to Luxor Airport.
