Experience Pacific Northwest island life, history, and wine on this all-inclusive small group day tour of beautiful Bainbridge Island. We’ll start the day with a scenic ferry ride from Seattle followed by a leisurely tour of this island’s colorful past. In the afternoon, it’s all fun as we explore the island’s budding winery scene by visiting two local producers. Stop At: Washington State Ferries, 801 Alaskan Way Pier 52, Seattle, WA 98104-1410

After being picked-up at your Seattle hotel or vacation rental in our Mercedes van, we'll take the scenic Washington State ferry to Bainbridge Island. Enjoy complimentary drinks and pastries as you take in sweeping views of the Seattle skyline and Puget Sound.

Stop At: Bloedel Reserve, 7571 NE Dolphin Dr, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110-3001

Our first stop on Bainbridge Island is the beautifully manicured estate of the wealthy Bloedel family. Prentice and Virginia Bloedel created this 150 acre forested reserve with an eye for conservation and aesthetic beauty. We’ll take a guided nature walk around the property to enjoy the lush gardens and varied landscape.

We'll enjoy a gourmet lunch on one of the island's scenic beaches or at a local restaurant, depending on weather conditions.

Stop At: Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial, 4192 Eagle Harbor Drive, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110

After lunch, we’ll delve into island history at this National Park Service site, where we’ll learn and reflect upon the local history of Japanese-American internment during World War II.

Stop At: Bainbridge Vineyards, 8989 NE Day Rd E, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110-1398

We’ll spend the afternoon visiting two Bainbridge Island wineries with excellent wine and fun atmospheres. Bainbridge’s wine scene has taken off in recent years and is now filled with friendly down-to-earth producers who have a clear passion for their work. The culture is relaxed, educational, and unpretentious. All tasting fees are included in the tour. For beer lovers, we're happy to substitute a tasting flight at Bainbridge Brewing at our second stop.
