Day 1: AIRPORT PICK-UP / WELCOME TO SRI LANKA

Stop At: Colombo, Colombo, Western Province
AYUBOWAN-! Welcome to Sri Lanka, one of the leading romantic destinations in the whole world. Upon arrival at Colombo CMB Airport, you will meet and greet by the tour leader and then will be transferred to your hotel.The first destination will be Colombo, which has long been known as the most popular commercial capital in Sri Lanka. The colourful streets, restaurants and modern shopping malls attract hordes of locals and tourists alike. In Colombo, you have the opportunity to visit the most highlighted places in the city and also to enjoy the amazing evening atmosphere. Perhaps, you may intend to pop into a famous and internationally renowned restaurant in Colombo to end your trip over an unforgettable meal. For day one we haven't planned any activity, so you will have a relaxing day at your cozy hotel. Evening, you may walk along the city center while enjoying the amazing night life of the city.

Day 2: DEVON WATERFALL / TEA REGION OF NUWARA ELIYA

Stop At: Devon Falls, Talawakele, Nuwara Eliya 22200 Sri Lanka
After enjoying a delicious breakfast with a hot cup of Sri Lankan tea or a coffee, you will take a wonderful journey across the stunning Sri Lankan countryside towards Nuwara Eliya. En-route stop at Devon Waterfall. known as the ‘Veil of the Valley’, is situated 6 km (3.7 mi) west of Talawakele, on the A7 highway. The falls is named after a pioneer English coffee planter called Devon, whose plantation was situated nearby the falls. The waterfall is 97 m (318 ft) high and is the 19th highest in the country.

Thereafter visit Nuwara Eliya, is often referred to as “Little England” because many of the buildings in this city retain from the British colonial period, such as the Queen's Cottage, the General's House, the Grand Hotel, the Hill Club and the Town Post Office. Since this amazing town is located in the mountains, it's characterized by a cool climate all year long.

Day 3: HORTON PLAINS NATIONAL PARK / TEA FACTORY

Stop At: Horton Plains National Park, Nuwara Eliya Sri Lanka
Early in the morning visit Horton Plains National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located on the eastern edge of the Central Highlands, midway between Nuwara Eliya and Hatton. It is a forest reserve, where the land rises to 2,500 meters above sea level. The region is known as a super biodiversity hotspot. Horton Plains is home to an extraordinary range of flora and fauna, including several endangered species. It is also home for Sri Lankan Leopards and deer. The park is named after the British governor Sir Robert Horton.

Stop At: Pedro Tea Factory, Nuwara Eliya Sri Lanka
Next: while driving through the cold and misty hills that host lush green tea plantations, stop at a tea factory to observe the rich tradition of making Ceylon Tea that kept alive up to date. Make sure to end your factory visit in style over a perfectly blended cup of tea.

Day 4: SPECTACULAR TRAIN JOURNEY / HISTORIC KANDY CITY

Stop At: Nanu Oya, Nanu Oya, Central Province
In the morning, you will enjoy a spectacular train journey from Nanu-oya station to Kandy. It is known as one of the most picturesque hill country train journeys in the world (Train ticket class categories are subject to availability).

Stop At: Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, Sri Dalada Veediya, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
Thereafter, proceed towards Kandy, the capital of the last Sinhalese kingdom. It's set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and biodiverse rainforests. Kandy is also famous for its sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE).

Day 5: ROYAL BOTANICAL GARDEN / CULTURAL DANCE SHOW

Stop At: Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya Road, Peradeniya 20400 Sri Lanka
After breakfast, visit Gem Museum; get to know more about the World-renowned and most prestigious Sri Lankan gems and jewellery in a gem museum tour. Thereafter, visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden, one of the best botanical gardens in Asia. Stop At: Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is renowned for its collection of orchids. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres.

Evening, you’ll enjoy a walk around Kandy's city centre before engaging with a cultural dance show which is inspired by Sri Lankan arts, traditional dance and cultural heritage (INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE).

Day 6: CAVE TEMPLE / SPICE GARDEN / CULTURAL VILLAGE TOUR

Stop At: Matale Herbal and Spice Garden, No 25 Koholangwela Madawala Ulpatha, Matale 21000 Sri Lanka
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will take a drive across the stunning Sri Lankan countryside towards Dambulla. It is the central point of the cultural triangle on the island. En-route you will step into Matale Space Garden.

Stop At: Dambulla Royal Cave Temple, Kandy - Jaffna Highway, Dambulla 21100 Sri Lanka
Upon arrival to Dambula, visit Golden Buddha Temple, which has the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. It has been treasured by many kings since the 1st century B.C. The rock towers 160 meters over the surrounding plains and houses 5 cave temples with some unique and significant historical drawings. It would be an amazing experience if you could climb up and enjoy the magnificent view from the top of the rock.

Stop At: Habarana Lake, Habarana Sri Lanka
Thereafter, you'll enjoy a wonderful cultural village tour while exploring the beautiful countryside. It will start with a Bullock Cart ride, one of the most ancient and prime transportation systems in Sri Lanka, still used in some villages. While on the tour you will have a canoeing ride across the lake and finally you will reach a farmer’s house where you will experience the typical Sri Lankan countryside hospitality.

Day 7: SIGIRIYA FORTRESS / ELEPHANT TRAIL SAFARI

Stop At: Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress, Sigiriya 21120 Sri Lanka
In the morning, you will visit Sigiriya Lion Rock, an ancient rock fortress located near the town of Dambulla. King Kasyapa (477 – 495 BC) built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colourful frescoes. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and it is one of the best-preserved examples of ancient architecture.

Stop At: Minneriya National Park, Maradankadawala-Habarana-Thirukkondaiadimadu Highway, 50150 Sri Lanka
Afternoon, your tour leader will take you to Minneriya/Kaudulla National Park for an afternoon 4x4 Jeep safari, since it is the best time to spot wild elephants on their natural habitat. If you're up for a serious rumble in the jungle, then Minneriya/Kaudulla is your ideal destination! Spreading over 8800 hectares, this park is mainly a sanctuary for elephants. It is always a pleasure to watch baby elephants playing with water at the centrepiece Lake of the park. This place is known as the largest elephant gathering place in the world.

Day 8: HOT-AIR BALLOON / IT'S TIME FOR THE BEACH

Stop At: Sigiriya, Sigiriya, Central Province
In the morning, if you are up to it, we could arrange an amazing hot-air balloon tour (optional activity-subject to availability due to weather conditions). It is a great way to experience the exhilaration of flight with a bird’s eye view of the area below. A silent ride through the sky, an excursion over the cultural triangle, or a wildlife park in a hot air balloon will be an incredible experience.

Stop At: Passikudah Beach, Kalkudah Sri Lanka
Threreafter, depart from Dambulla towards Passikuda, is a delightful sandy beach that was a well-kept secret in the past, but now few restaurants and pubs are opening up to visitors. Passikuda is also characterized by white sands and coconut palms growing right from the edge of the sea as if in imitation of a postcard of the perfect tropical beach. If you are looking to spend a relaxing time and to give yourself a calm and natural treat, this is the ideal place for you. Passikudh beach, which extends across 7-8 kilometres, is truly a symbol of peace, calmness and cleanness. Upon arrival at your hotel, you could grab a towel to relax on the beach while enjoying a cocktail or a chill beer under the shade of a beach umbrella.

Day 11: NEGOMBO COASTAL CITY

Stop At: Colombo City Centre, 137 Sir James Pieris Mawatha, Colombo 00200 Sri Lanka
After breakfast, you will depart from Pasikudha towards the coastal city of Negombo, which has long been known as the most popular beach in Sri Lanka, famous for its golden sandy beach, food and entertainments. For the last day we haven't planned any activity, so you will have a relaxing day at Negombo beach or by the pool of your cosy hotel. Evening, you may walk along the seashore while enjoying the beautiful sun setting and the pleasant evening atmosphere of Negombo beach.

Day 12: AIRPORT OR HOTEL DROP-OFF
