Itinerary

Day 1: Barreirinhas - Lagoa Bonita - Povoado Mocambo - 11km Trekking

Stop At: Lencois Maranhenses National Park, Lencois Maranhenses National Park, State of Maranhao
After the meeting at the participant's inn, a 4x4 vehicle takes us to the Lagoa Bonita region, where we will start our walk on the dunes visiting the lagoons, ending the morning in the village of Mocambo, at the home of the natives of the region where we will spend our first night.
Duration: 3 hours

Meals included:
• Breakfast: Tapioca, coffee, tea, milk, eggs and cakes
• Lunch: Meal based on fish or free-range chicken accompanied by rice, beans, pasta and pasta.
• Dinner: Meal based on fish or free-range chicken accompanied by rice, beans, pasta and salad.
Accommodation included: Overnight in Maranhão networks, at Dona Paixão's house

Day 2: Povoado Mocambo - Povoado Rancharia - 13km Trekking

Stop At: Parque Nacional dos Lencois Maranhenses, Av. Amapa,sn. Amapa, Barreirinhas, State of Maranhao 65590-000 Brazil
After breakfast, we set off towards the village Rancharia, visiting lagoons and beautiful desert landscapes, we will also visit communities along the way, carrying out the cultural exchange between visitor and desert dweller. In the Rancharia community, we will settle in the native house, Mrs. Tatiane.
Duration: 4 hours

Meals included:
• Breakfast: tapioca, coffee, tea, milk, fruits and cakes
• Lunch: Meal based on fish or free-range chicken accompanied by rice, beans, pasta and salad.

• Dinner: Meal based on fish or free-range chicken accompanied by rice, beans, pasta and salad.
Accommodation included: We will spend the night in Maranhão's hammocks, at the home of Dona Tatiane

Day 3: Rancharia Village - Betânia - Santo Amaro do Maranhão - 15km Trekking

Stop At: Lencois Maranhenses National Park, Lencois Maranhenses National Park, State of Maranhao
After breakfast, always before sunrise, we set off towards the city of Santo Amaro on a 15km trek, visiting lakes and beautiful landscapes, also visiting relevant places regarding the history of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park.
Duration: 4 hours

Meals included:
• Lunch: Meal based on fish or free-range chicken accompanied by rice, beans, pasta and salad.
No accommodation included on this day.
