Maria-Theresien-Platz is a large public square between Ringstrasse and the Museumsquartier. Facing each other from the sides of the square are two twin buildings, the Natural History Museum and the Art History Museum. Square is decorated by the grand statue of empress Maria Theresa.

Historic Ring Road style is using elements of Classical, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Ringstrasse is designated by UNESCO as a part of Vienna’s World Heritage Site.
