Our Arabic calligraphy workshop will be a moment for our participants to get back to basics, to find and combine their creativity with their breath, to discover rhythm, to calm down and to tend to the meditative form. The Arabic calligrapher will make you travel in a world of artistic expressions where Arabic letters dance to tell the Art of writing.
We start with :
* the definition of Arabic calligraphy.
* Introduction to the materials of this art and presentation of the reed pen.
* Learn how to handle the pen (three fingers; position of the body; slow and decomposed tracing of letters).
* After talking about the "basic rules", we start with the manipulation of the Qalam beveled nib and the loading of the ink. Then it's time to practice by performing a series of exercises. Formation of Arabic letters. Words, first names and expressions..

A mint tea and Moroccan cakes are offered during the break.
