Day 1: Day 1: Over the mountains and into the desert
Stop At: Middle Atlas, Morocco
Start your day bright and early and travel south toward Merzouga. Along the way, you will climb up and over the Col du Zad pass (7,146 feet or 2,178 m) through the picturesque small town of Ifrane and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Enjoy sightings of the local Barbary macaque monkeys before stopping for lunch in Midelt (the 'apple city'), relishing the nearby Moulouya River. Continue over the Tizi n'Talremt pass and into the Ziz Valley, known for its hidden oases and palm tree clusters. Along the road, you will see many fortified houses known as ksars—built to protect precious wares, including gold, salt, and spices.

Stop At: Erg Chebbi, Erg Chebbi, Meknes-Tafilalet Region
Continue on to Erfoud, known for its date festival and fossil mining. Here you can visit a local collective to learn more about the process and meet some local artisans. Continue to Erg Chebbi, an extensive sea of sand dunes covering an area of 13.5 square miles (35 square km). Never stationary, the massive dunes shift and travel depending on the changing wind! Upon reaching your luxury camp, you will experience an amazing camel ride to enjoy the spectacular sunset along the way and explore the magical golden Dunes of Erg Chebbi. Return to your camp and enjoy some fantastic local cuisine while you sit around an open fire, enjoying live music and dancing under the stars. Your well-equipped luxury private Nomadic Style tent will welcome you to spend a memorable overnight in the heart of the Sahara Desert.

Day 2: Day 2: Desert towns, 1000 Kasbah Road, lush oases & film-worthy landscapes
Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
Rise early and climb a nearby sand dune to catch the sunrise before testing your skills on sandboarding. After Breakfast, you will take the 4x4 for a tour to some nearby caves where natural fossils can be found, then you will go to the small and ancient village of Tissrdmin where many well-known movies have been filmed, taking the road which passes along the route of the famous Paris – Dakar rally and passing through the Black Desert with its volcanic stones to have tea with a nomadic family and learn a lot about their daily way of life in Sahara.

Stop At: Gargantas del Todra, Tinerhir 45800 Morocco
Continue your journey to Khamlia to experience a traditional Saharan village—its people are originally from Mali. Continue west to pass through a dramatic gate into Rissani. A market town, Rissani holds a livestock auction and is home to a "donkey parking lot", a site worth experiencing! Make your way to the desert town of Tinerhir before reaching the 984 feet (300 m) deep Todra Gorge. You will have time to explore the gorge and relax in the cool water of the shallow Todra River.

Stop At: Dades Gorges, R704 Atlas Mountains, Boumalne Dades 45350 Morocco
Travel through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs (an old fortress or fortification). Though many kasbahs are now in disrepair, local families still live in some of them. You may even come across nomads herding their animals. Continue your desert trip through Berber Villages to the Dades valley to explore the strange rocky formations known as the “the Monkey fingers”, the rocks seem designed by nature to look like a maze of different layers. As you approach the valley of the Kasbahs, you'll recognize their orange-shaded profiles in the distant light of the sunset. An enticing dinner while looking at the valley is an essential experience to enjoy the beauty of the panorama to the fullest. You’re going to spend this night in one of the kasbahs, to better experience the authentic feel of the landscape.

Day 3: Day 3: Aït Benhaddou kasbah, Tizi n'Tichka Pass over High Atlas to Marrakech
Stop At: Ait Ben Haddou, Ait Ben Haddou, Souss-Massa
After your healthy breakfast overlooking the Valley, head west to Kelâat M'Gouna. Known for its Roses’ Festival, here you can see extensively cultivated farmland bordered with fragrant rose bushes. Continue west to Ouarzazate, a gateway to the Sahara Desert made popular by the film industry. Visit the Taourirt Kasbah built in the 19th century and owned by the el Glaoui family, and then join a studio tour to discover how the nearby desert landscapes have been featured in many famous films. Continue on to Morocco's most famous kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage site, Aït Benhaddou, dates from the 11th century when it held an important position along the trans-Saharan trade route. Stop and explore the narrow streets and passageways of this traditional mud-brick city. From there, travel the winding road over the High Atlas Mountains.

Stop At: Tizi n Tichka, Imlil Village, Ouarzazate 45000 Morocco
Stop near the top of the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (7,415 feet or 2,260 m) to admire the view over the mountain range.
Stop at an Argan Oil Cooperative in Taddert to learn how Argan is processed, before making your descent down the High Atlas and into the changing scenery.

Stop At: Marrakech, Marrakech, Marrakech-Safi
Upon arriving in the Red City of Marrakech, settle into your hotel/ Riad and spend the rest of the evening as you like. Orient yourself around Marrakech's main square, Jemaa el-Fna to discover the lively activity: musicians, performers, snake charmers, and bustling stalls. Grab something to eat or choose a nearby café and enjoy the show! Also visit the 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque to its west. At 253 feet (77 m) the minaret is hard to miss. Wander the attached gardens, dotted with fountains, pools, flowers, and palm trees.
