Starting from Amman, the Dead Sea, Or Airport, Your driver will pick you up from your location and then start the drive toward the site. Our English-speaking driver will take you along the Desert Highway to Petra, Depending on road conditions the drive will last a minimum of 3 hours including one stop on the way.

Stop At: Petra Visitors Center, Tourism Street, Petra - Wadi Musa Jordan

Once you arrive at the visitor center in Petra, the driver with you will assist with the purchase of your tickets and a local guide (optional) if you are interested in more information about the architecture and history of the area.

Visit the main sites in the area, its towns, damns, and water channels. This stunning creation begins with a walk through Al-Siq; a long, narrow, and deep pathway of stunning natural beauty that acts as the main entrance to the ancient Nabatean city of Petra. Your eye first sees the Treasury “Al-Khazneh.” The treasury is one of the most elegant remains of antiquity entirely carved deep into the rocks of one side of the mountain and concealed in a high-walled ellipse of a valley. Almost 40 meters high, it is intricately decorated with Corinthian capitals, friezes, and figures. You will also see other monuments such as the Altar of sacrifice, the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and the Roman Theater.

Stop At: Wadi Rum Protected Area, Wadi Rum Jordan

Next, head to Wadi Rum, the filming location of blockbuster movies such as Lawrence of Arabia and The Martian. Allow yourself to be transported into this other-worldly landscape. Embark on an adventurous 4x4 safari ride through the desert and visit several sites including Nabatean Temple.

Later, stop at a picturesque Bedouin for a refreshing cup of Arabic tea or coffee and the opportunity to mingle with the locals. Finally, gaze upon a breathtaking sunset across the silky desert plains before beginning the return journey to Amman, the Dead Sea, or Airport.
