Day 1: Internal flight to Tamanrasset

Stop At: Tamanrasset, Tamanrasset, Tamanrasset Province
Departure in the early morning towards the national airport of Algiers.
During your 2-hour internal flight, you will observe the immensity and diversity of the Algerian Sahara
from the air. Then, you will land in the largest Tuareg city in the world: Tamanrasset.
In this alternative Algeria, our Touareg team will welcome you at the airport and then
will drive towards your hotel.
After your lunch in a local restaurant, you will visit the museum of Tamanrasset as well
as the very famous Imzad museum for an introduction to Targui culture.
Finally, at the beginning of the evening, return and dinner at the hotel to be able to rest before leaving for
adventure and sink into the majestic Sahara the next day.

Day 2: Assekrem

Stop At: Assekrem, Tamanrasset Algeria
After breakfast, departure to the Assekrem plateau which rises to 2726 meters above sea level.
On the road, you will enjoy lunch in a Tuareg camp near the Gueltas
of Afilal. Although located at the epicenter of the Sahara, this miracle of nature offers locals a
rich vegetation and even… fish (like the desert barbel).
You will arrive in the middle of the afternoon at the Assekrem pass. Over there, a visit and a moment of
prayer and meditation at the hermitage of Charles de Foucauld is essential before the contemplation of the
sunset. At night, you will observe an unparalleled bed of stars.

Day 3: Tikacharouet

Stop At: Tamanrasset Province, Tamanrasset Province
Wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise over the Assekrem.
After a breakfast prepared by our Tuareg team, you will set off on the road to
return to the town of Tamanrasset.
Along the way, you will have lunch under the acacias of Tikachouaret in a Tuareg camp.
The afternoon will be dedicated to meeting the famous blacksmiths of Tamanrasset, you will visit
also the Bordj from which Charles de Foucauld was assassinated, then its chapel.

Day 4: Tanget

Stop At: Tamanrasset Province, Tamanrasset Province
The program is entirely flexible according to your desires.
After breakfast, departure for the site of Tanget.
On the way, you will have lunch in a first Tuareg camp in the Taraouhaouet wadi.
After lunch, you will take the road again discovering magnificent desert, sandy and mountainous landscapes.

Day 5: Tuareg Villages and Meetings with locals

Stop At: Tamanrasset Province, Tamanrasset Province
Return to Tamanrasset after lunch at the Tanget site.
On the road, our Tuareg team will take you through local Tuareg villages where you can meet Targui families and appreciate their way of life.
In the afternoon, following your return to Tamanrasset, you will visit the traditional markets and craft stalls. The opportunity to do some souvenir shopping before your return.

Day 6: Return flight to Algiers

Stop At: Algiers, Algiers, Algiers Province
Last visit of Tamanrasset in the morning and last purchases.
Then departure for the airport according to the time of your internal flight (2h30 direct flight).
Arrival in Algiers, our team from the North of Algeria will welcome you to accompany you to your hotels
