Itinerary

PLEASE READ: Your instructor will greet you at our headquarters with the appropriate paperwork. If you are new to scuba diving, you must fill out a medical form and be able to answer "NO" to each of the questions. Contact Banyan Tree Divers for a copy of this form if you have any medical conditions that might impair your ability to dive so that you can review it ahead of time, and secure a doctor clearance if necessary. Certified divers will sign a PADI liability release.

After your dive safety briefing, you will get fitted for your equipment and head to the dive site. New divers will enjoy a short skill practice in shallow water to get comfortable with the breathing and use of dive equipment before continuing for an exciting dive.

IMPORTANT: YOU MUST WAIT AT LEAST 18 HOURS TO FLY, ZIPLINE, OR ASCEND TO HALEAKALA AFTER SCUBA DIVING.

You will complete a medical form prior to your dive. You must be able to answer "NO" to each one of the questions on the form. A "YES" ON THE MEDICAL STATEMENT WILL REQUIRE A DOCTOR CLEARANCE TO DIVE. FAILURE TO RECEIVE A DOCTOR CLEARANCE WHEN NEEDED WILL FORFEIT YOUR DIVE AND PAYMENT FOR IT. • After diving you must wait 18 hours to fly or ascend to 1,000 feet or more
• Guests must be proficient at swimming to complete this activity
• Guests must be able to carry 30lbs on their backs for short distances

• Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
• Basic swimming ability is recommended
• Hand sanitizer available to travelers and staff
• Regularly sanitized high-traffic areas
• Gear/equipment sanitized between use
• Transportation vehicles regularly sanitized
• Guides required to regularly wash hands
• While scuba diving involves minimal physical contact with guests, your immediate safety is our first priority. Thus, we are unable to promise consistent social distancing during your dive experience. All gear is sanitized before and after use.
• This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
• This is a private tour/activity. Only your group will participate
