Stop At: Highland Park, Baku Azerbaijan

Highland park, well known as ‘’Viewing Square’’, and earlier in Soviet era as ‘’Sergei Kirov park’’ is one of the most favourite places in Baku to have walk, rest, and enjoy the sea view. There you can take rest by breathing fresh air, viewing the city, drinking tea in the Highland Park Café , while listening to the classic lounge music. It’s the best place to relax, that is located right in the heart of Baku.

Stop At: Flame Towers, 1A, Mehdi Huseyn, Baku Azerbaijan

Located on a hill overlooking the Caspian Sea and Baku’s old city center, this trio of iconic buildings has transformed the skyline of Azerbaijan’s capital. The city’s history of fire worship, natural gas resources and recent reputation as a hotbed for technology and commerce inspired HOK’s design of these sleek, flame-shaped towers.

aku Boulevard, also known as the National Seaside Park in Baku, Azerbaijan is the favorite promenade of many city residents and visitors and the second largest in Europe after the park on the banks of the River Seine in Paris. Its establishment goes back to more than 100 years, to a time when Baku’s oil barons built their mansions along the Caspian shore, and the seafront was gradually built up

The Little Venice in Baku is the great & clean refreshing park to walk and relax with kids or the family. Very beautiful & astonishing surroundings. Feels like you are away from city yet in the city. Unique & lovely relaxing atmosphere. You can take a ride in gandolas (venetian boats), take the pictures, and just enjoy the trip.

Icherisheher – the Old City - is the pearl of the Azerbaijan nation, and a source of pride for every Azeri citizen. Even though its area is only 22 hectares in size, it contains hundreds of historical monuments, four of which are of world importance and 28 of which are of local importance.

The walls of the fortress are 8-10 meters in height and 3.5m in width. The unique historic monuments and wide range of tourism optionsl make Icherisheher one of the most popular tourist attractions in Azerbaijan.

Icherishehher is a romantic place for leisure where you will feel as if you have been transported back in time. The walled city of Baku is located in the sub-tropic geographic zone and has a moderate climate. The winter, spring and autumn are mild and the summer is dry, with rains in late autumn and early spring.
The Old City is the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by walls were well protected. In 2007, the Old City had a population of about 3000 people.

Stop At: Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center, Heydar Aliyev Avenue, 1/1, Baku 1033 Azerbaijan

You can’t miss it. Anyone coming into Baku’s city center from the outlying airport passes the cultural center, sited as it is along the main trunk road. Even taxi drivers turn their heads because its forms curve and churn, its undulating shapes morphing from every vantage point. The front crests in a balletic sweep, alighting en pointe in what the architects call a “Nureyev moment,” only for the back to sheer off like a cliff. The building—whose smooth, distorted grid of glass-fiber-reinforced polyester panels has no visible connections—looks less as though it was actually built, and more as though it landed.
