Situated just an hour and a half of speedboat ride from Dubrovnik, near the peninsula of Pelješac and island of Korčula, Mljet is one of the many must-see locations of the Dalmatian south.

The richness of its flora and fauna are some of the reasons why in 1960. northwest part of the island, stretching over 3000 ha, became national park. With just a quick glimpse from the distance at its dense green vegetation and clean mesmerizing blue sea, hearing chirping of the birds and song of the crickets, you’ll realize you’re entering the unspoiled oasis.

The Legend of Odysseus

A Cave With a Natural Phenomenon

Legends has it that Odysseus was shipwrecked on Mljet, and was trapped by a nymph Calypso in a cave which can be entered by the sea, swimming or by smaller boat. The cave is a few tens of meters wide, and during summer days, around noon, the sunlight creates a natural phenomenon, the spectrum of colors in the sea.

A visit to Odysseus cave is a part of Mljet boat tour, our skipper will take you there if you wish. You can have a swim, snorkel and take wonderful photos and videos with Go-Pro camera. Should you need a break from the boat ride, sightseeing and bathing, we can make reservation for lunch in some of the best local restaurants.

Mljet is criss-crossed with a maze of paths that are ideal for walking and exploring its nature world. Among its many natural and historical treasures, we suggest you to visit Veliko and Malo jezero (the Great Lake and the Small Lake). On the south side of the Great lake, with the size of 120 m x 200 m, lies the islet of Saint Mary with the Benedictine monastery.

Our Mljet boat tour finishes with an hour and a half of speedboat ride back to Dubrovnik. The skipper will take you to the starting point, and if you want, there will be a car transfer organized for return to your accommodation.
